Douglas Distributing has $250,000 of inventory that is just sitting on the shelves right now due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
We need to sell it within the next 30 to 60 days because of the expirations dates of the food/candy/snacks and we've packaged it in easy to buy goodie bags.
We are NOT making a profit on any of these sales, we're only doing it to liquidate our inventory and keep our doors open.

Like so many other small family owned companies that provide much-needed services in our community, I am trying to figure out a way to work through these historical and uncertain times.
Our business is down 75%-80%. With no end in sight, I have cut all costs possible; including removing Sharon and I from payroll. I will continue to pay our staff as long as possible without cutting hours.
Unlike many other companies, most of our inventory has a short shelf life. This is where your help comes in! To keep my staff working, and product from going stale, we are giving you the opportunity to help us thank the heroes among us with thank you bags filled with goodies.
These bags are perfect for healthcare workers, first responders, and other groups of people that are on the front lines every day that you might want to thank. The bags have an approximate retail value of $25, and cost us approximately $8 (not including labor).
We are selling them at a discounted rate as listed below. They can be adjusted for price, or items if you wish to customize them for your group.
We are not trying to profit from this. We are only trying to use our inventory before it goes out of date, so we can survive this, while trying to help others in the process.
Douglas Distributing has donated the first 300 of these bags to Hancock Regional Hospital employees and staff, who are just some of the heroes of MY home community.

I personally ask all of you to please help. I have been serving the vending industry since 1983, and started Douglas Distributing with Sharon in November of 2000. We have helped so many others build their businesses, by working side by side and hand in hand with them. Again, we are not looking to profit from these thank you bags.
